Year 12 · WACE / Drama
Prepare for a tutoring lesson.
Choose a realistic goal for a session.
Try this with Drama
- Pick one topic and bring a question, an attempted answer or a short section of your notes.
- Write a goal you can check at the end, such as explaining a method or improving a response.
- Choose one independent follow-up task to try after working through the example.
Pick a starting point
- Character, role, relationships and situation: motivation, subtext, status and given circumstances
- Focus, tension, space, time, language, symbol, audience, mood and atmosphere
- The ten aspects of voice and how to manipulate them for dramatic meaning
- The nine aspects of movement, proxemics and blocking
- Director's vision, themes and issues, improvisation, and rehearsal versus performance
- Historical, social and cultural context, character values and point of view
Plan a sample lesson
Choose one inventory topic and a goal. This plan stays in your browser until you download it; it is not sent to a tutor.
