Year 12 · QCE / Drama
Prepare for a tutoring lesson.
Choose a realistic goal for a session.
Try this with Drama
- Pick one topic and bring a question, an attempted answer or a short section of your notes.
- Write a goal you can check at the end, such as explaining a method or improving a response.
- Choose one independent follow-up task to try after working through the example.
Pick a starting point
- The four dramatic languages: forms and styles, conventions, elements, skills
- Role, character and relationship on the page and in performance
- Tension, mood, contrast and dramatic focus
- Time, place, space, situation, symbol, language and movement
- What unites the styles: purpose, non-realism and social commentary
- Brechtian conventions: gestus, historification, placard, narration and the broken fourth wall
Plan a sample lesson
Choose one inventory topic and a goal. This plan stays in your browser until you download it; it is not sent to a tutor.
Resource inventory inspected 4 November 2026. The main ATARMAXXING study platform is separate from tutoring. Topic labels show what was found, not a guarantee of complete curriculum coverage or tutor availability.
